How a brake fail repair runs
Car on the ramp. Wheels off. We inspect every corner: pads, discs, calipers, slide pins, flexi hoses, fluid condition, handbrake mechanism. We compare what we see against the VT30 fail item so we are fixing the actual problem, not the symptom on the next corner. Sticking calipers get stripped, cleaned and rebuilt with new seals where the body is good, or replaced when corrosion is past saving.
Pads and discs are replaced as matched sets, not mixed. The brake fluid is bled through with fresh DOT 4 if it is over two years old. The handbrake is set up properly and tested on the rolling road if needed. Once the work is done we road test, then send you straight to MOT retest with confidence.
