How a body kit fitting at our Berkshire workshop runs
Dry fit first. Every panel offered up before any drilling, bonding or final fixings. Panel gaps measured, alignment checked from multiple angles, anything that does not sit right is flagged before paint. If the kit itself is poorly moulded, we will tell you straight rather than wrestle it on. Saves you a paint bill on a bad part.
Once the dry fit is signed off, panels are removed and prepped, paint code matched to your existing bodywork, sprayed and baked, then refitted with proper mounting fixings and adhesive where the kit calls for it. Edges sealed, drains preserved, any drilled holes corrosion treated. The car leaves with no exposed hardware and no daylight in the gaps.
What this page is not
